An appointment with the history of the ancient port of Genoa: what is left of the old port? Which of its characteristics have survived to the present day? Di Molo in Molo is back: it is the itinerary (and hard-copy guide) to archaeology and our industrial heritage.
We will walk among wharves and old piers to discover the history of the ancient port of Genoa, the craft and dockside transportation, the equipment and the buildings. We will seek out the traces of the former area of the old port of Genoa, before the great transformations of the nineties of last century – which turned a port operating area into an integral and vital part of the urban fabric.
The initiative is organised by the inGE Association.
